A clevis hanger is two-part support joined together with a cross bolt. The two-part design allows for minor movement within the piping system. Clevis hangers cradle the pipe in a horizontal application.

Used for mounting of pipes to the walls ( vertical / horizontal ) , ceilings and floors For Suspending Stationary Non-Insulated Copper Tubing Lines Being fasteners for pipe lines such as heating, sanitary and waste water pipes;to walls, ceilings and floors. Side screws are protected against loss during assemble with the help of plastic washers.

When an oversized clevis is used, a pipe spacer should be placed over the cross bolt to assure that the lower U-strap will not move in on the bolt.
