In the fast changing field of lighting and broadcasting, it can sometimes be difficult for buyers to know which products are the most appropriate for their needs, and what to believe about the claims made by producers. It is not uncommon, for example, for producers of simple LED lamps to claim that their products have life-spans of over 100, 000 hours, when this is in fact untrue. Bad quality may be a simple inconvenience for the average consumer, but for the TV broadcasting director, or professional photographer, a useless lamp can quickly turn into a major headache, not to say disaster.
Brightcast may be a young company in the LED lighting industry, but it is the outgrowth of two other companies in the broadcasting industry with a long and rich experience: Digital New Culture (DNC) and VideoStar.
At Brightcast we are constantly expanding and improving the range of our products. Often this comes about from our R&D and cooperation with academic institutions. But sometimes this is the result of dialogue with our clients. From our conversations and their suggestions we are able to build new prototypes and products.
