It is particularly effective in bleaching pulp, paper, and fibers like flax, cotton, and viscose, offering superior quality without damaging the fibers.

As a versatile solution, sodium chlorite is also utilized in medical health, food processing, aquaculture, drinking water disinfection, industrial water treatment, and dry flower technology. It effectively removes phenols and phenolic compounds from polluted water, making it a valuable tool in water treatment processes.
